With the tragedy in Japan, I decided that money is nice to send...but I want to make sure that someone some where is getting something they can love

I want to orchestrate a small charity where crafters and the like make toys for the little ones in Japan who have lost everything and ship everything over....
I'm trying to organize how to go about doing this....it may be a while until we can send our gifts, since shipping to Japan has come to a halt.
I want to base this out of Jefer's store since it is a packing store and works w fedex
it'd be nice if i could organize it so i could take donations for shipping, etc

i just wanted to throw that out in case some of you were interested and wanted to show your support
i have some friends in Japan and I have begun to ask how the situation is and what they recommended(shipping to shelters or to a specific place rather than one person to distribute)

if anyone has recommendations, i'd love to talk it over privately...
i believe once i get my game plan down, i will set up a facebook group maybe and try to build from there
