and i can't comprehend the reason behind it
it's the last song i HAVE to listen to before I go to work

today was my first day in the hospital
kick ass
i know
i woke up at 6am, made a cup'a tea and chugged a glass of water....
then got all prepped up out the door
and lo and behold....the deep freeze hit the universe

i was a little more tardy than need-be
rather than be on the floor at 6:45, i was there between 6:50 and 6:55
and they have ZERO tolerance for tardiness
i shoulda warned them i'm NOT a morning person
in the slightest.
this is why i wanted the night shift....too bad they train on the day shift
i'll get over it for the next 6wks or so
ANYWHO
today was pretty cool
i spent many hours reading the policies and i helped w the self-care patients who could bathe themselves
no one in my unit can use the showers, cause everyone has had surgery recently.
I learned a few things, did some vitals, did some graphing, assisted w the physical therapy groups.
my legs HURT omg
it's nice to be up and about and busting my ass to make some money
i miss it!!
i was supposed to work next w/e but i was rescheduled to do 3 days in the week, so that's okay with me
tonight and tomorrow will be early nights, but Saturday I'm hitting up the town w Alli....or just sitting around and drinking booze around the bonfire. HA!
