Oh you didn't know....that...I'm cool like that?
I can shoot lasers out of my eyes...
<.<
Well, upon reading a blog written by DelaneyJae, I had the idea to give the factoid pointing out stuff a whirl. I wish I had a basis for this, but I will freestyle...I hope it goes as well as my rapping career.
1. I have had the chance to touch many dead people. Too bad this has been in an attempt to bring them back to life and it hasn't worked for me, YET! I have also had the opportunity to place one of my patients in a big ol' bag and put her in the freezer. Not many people in my field of work have that chance...so I was all over it like white on rice.
2. I am not going to allow myself to die until I deliver one baby, at least. When I'm at someone's house for a maternity, I always linger and take my time.
3. Thanks to my family, I am famous for eating anything and everything. When I was a little girl, I'd go outside, pluck a large leaf off of this huge tree we had then walk around the yard and gather grass, shamrocks, flowers and then make a taco out of this and eat it. I also remember I was at home and inside and I remember people mentioning that children ate dirt, so I conciously walked outside and picked up dirt and shoved it in my mouth. I never repeated this.
4. Oddly enough, after mentioning #3, I am actually freaked out by germs. I was explaining, earlier today, that simple things like if I have a glass of something to drink, I will never raise anything above it, the same with food...I just imagine dirt and dust and yuckies falling on it.
5. I love the smell of bleach. I think it's a puerto rican thing. I really can just sit there and inhale, as sick as that sounds. smells like clean! CLEAN!
6. I guess I could have been considered a child prodigy. I would copy everything. I said my first word when I was 1 month old(as weird as that sounds) and spoke full sentences before I was one.
7. I taught myself how to read. When I was 3 or 4. I memorized the book and beat myself til I made sense of it all. I don't know how I did it, actually...I think I was kind of one of those creepy kids, tbh.
8. I've broken one bone in my life...my collar bone when I was about 4 or 5. It now is the source of an imbalance in my muscles and makes being at the computer, actively using a mouse to be devastatingly painful. This is why I prefer laptops, the smaller hand movement and the ability to keep my arm close to my body makes me a happy girl.
9. My favorite taste is sour. I love having that pinched face feeling and I found the perfect food for my cravings, though it is impossible to procure here for some odd reason...I will need a good recipe for pickled plums if anyone has one.
10. I hated college and dropped out my first semester. Very much unlike high school where I had so many honors and my grades were almost impeccable. p.s. my highest grade in a class was only 105, though, so I wasn't that much of a nerd, promise.
11. I've been to 16 of the 50 states and I want to expand. DAMN IT! EXPAND.....I want to see it all. I've also travelled to lots of islands if that counts for anything...Martinique, St. Thomas, St. Lucia, Barbados, Aruba..and Puerto Rico a million times.
12. The only other continent I have officially been on was Asia, for a few weeks I spent in Japan when I was 17 and my mom was sick of me so she shipped me across the world for some her time.
13. In the passed 10 months, I have received 6 tattoos. Also, I have only been tattooed in two states, New Jersey and Florida. Though I have been pierced in 3, those two, plus Georgia.
14. I am very passionate about Japanese music and named my son after a Japanese artist, Shena Ringo... I am using her music and images as an influence for a back piece dedicated to ManDingo, himself.
15. I am obsessed with geishas and everything about them. I even did my final paper in high school on them. I have studied them rather thoroughly and actually dreamed of becoming one.
16. Before that, my dream was to become a Chinese acrobat. Don't ask.
17. I am completely insane when it comes to spelling and grammatical errors, even though when I am typing in a blog, I tend to be completely lax about it, also in chat. Though, I hold a double standard and will still fix minor grammatical errors...though spelling will never slip through my grasp in a blog or in chat. it is an error and makes imperfection. imperfection is imbalance and poor education and I JUST CAN'T HAVE THAT. NO. plus i think it's an O.C.D. thing...that and the counting.
18. I used to write avidly, which some of you may know and have read when I posted some silly poems I wrote up in about 5 minutes. What I haven't mentioned very well is that I have been published in books, given rewards and I have also been on t.v. for poetry. I wanted to be a writer but nowadays, you have to go to college to have talent or some bullshit. I think I may start writing a book, anyways. Shits and giggles.
19. I am fierce. You are tragic. Get over it.
20. I own 1 instrument, a cello. I play it very poorly but I want to take lessons...at the same time, I want to sell it.
21. I'd SO freeze my ass off in Canada for one kiss.
22. I tend to have a really sensitive sense of smell and also palate. I am insane. I know. It makes me pickier. I know. Eat my ass.
23. I like to cuss. It makes me giggle on the inside. i enjoy when people see a girl who looks about 10 years younger than she is-and about a head or more shorter than them-who cusses like a trucker and is acting like she will body slam them.
24. I have retard strength. Allison says so.
25. I am all of the angry races. I also am made up of all of the drunken races and have spent many evenings drink very large amounts of alcohol, without throwing up...though i have spent evenings where i have some crappy smirnoff ice and i'm sticking my finger down my throat cause....
26. I hate sweet food. I had this thing when I was preggers where I wouldn't eat ANY sweet food. I'd have a few sips of soda and get unbelievably ill because of the "sticky sweet" as i called it and wouldn't want to move until it was dead and in my kidneys. I still have a habit of shying away from sweets, though like anyone I get the occasional craving.
27. I could do this all night but as we know, the rambler needs to sip some water every now and again and rest her listeners brains. I hope someone out there learned something.
