Alright, my day improved vastly.
I spent the morning getting poked and prodded by indian woman, and having copious amounts of water, because GOD DAMNIT IT IS HOT IN THIS PLACE! I swear to god, it was one of those annoyingly hot days, where everything sticks to you.
After having my car taken away from me, I went to my dad's house, took the keys and left. I came back, picked up my step sister, dropped her off with my cousin for their evening out and headed downtown to have coffee withfilmMe...took us forever to organize times and everything, but after some shuffling and what not, time was set. My cell phone is not cut off anymore, fucking telus..I swear to god, do not ever go through them for a phone, fucking bastards.
I can't drive for shit. I get so lost everywhere I go, then I park blocks away from where I'm supposed to meet someone, walk through downtown (where I never go, I'm from the 'burbs) and always am surprised by everything. The people, the sounds, the smells..so different from the gap-land out here. I got lost, went into a pawn shop and a creepy man offered to walk me to where I was going. Um, no thanks buddy, it's the next lights, thanks
Downtown is so beautiful! Everything, the people, the sounds, the lights..it's so..alive compared to out here. I felt like a stranger in my own place tonight. It was disorienting and wonderful all at the same time. Except for that part where I get my feet wet (damn you Jordan!)
And now, it's hot again. And I'm actually tired, off to bed with me..
