Woo! I feel like a grown up, I cast my first vote in a federal election today

My weekend was largely uneventful. I spent a good deal of time yesterday slowly melting at the beach, god it was hot hot hot hot out. It was nice to get out into my bikini and lie in the sun though. I drove my cousin back to where she was being picked up to go to Penticton and breathed a huge sigh of relief that she's gone. I don't have to see her for another month when I'm part of the same wedding as her.
Speaking of weddings, I get to go get my sari tommorow. My first ever sari. I'm so excited! The white girl in me is being supressed and the brownie in me is coming out
It'll be good. It's not a culture I've been a part of a lot because I was raised by my mom, but I definitely excited to see some more of my heritage and actually be a part of it.
My girlfriend got accepted here! She applied once and got rejected. I helped her pick out her application pictures and she got accepted, so congrats to her! I'm bringing her to the event on the third, it'll be fun.
As for today..well, today is just a gong show. After staying up till five am this morning, I slept for five hours and then woke up and it was "go go go" all day. I went to a job intervew for a serving position at a beach out here in the Lower Mainland. It was pretty cool, but they say the labret has to come out, so the search for the job continues. That labret and I are attatched to each other, there's no parting us
Anyways, it's gorgeous out, and it's muggy in here. So I'm outta here!!

1. We arent really sure lol. My Mother's side is English with possible Native American blood mixed in, and My father was adopted so who really knows for sure, We know He is aleast part German, but the rest is a mystery.
2. I want to travel to England and Scotland to see the Castles and I want to spend the night at Stonehenge. And all the places you mentioned, also I want to go to Hawaii and the Philipines, but the place I want most to go to is Japan. I want to see where it all took place, the birthplace of the Samauri. I have much respect for the Japanese people
