So... I can't get a mobile contract unless I have a french bank account, I can't get a bank account unless I have "prove of residence", that is, a flat, and finding a flat without a cell phone will be "tres difficile".

But boy am I having a great time here, started doing some serious physics, still lying around lazily in the sun alot. The sunsets here are absolutely stunning, like if you saw it on a painting you'd ascribe to the overly vivid fancies of a kitsch afficiendo and wonder who buys this shit.

The other day we got a thin moon sickle tossed into the sunset, true Arabian nights. Except it's France. But I'll live with that, especially as I discovered a lovely little shisha cafe the other day.
