Hello my bits and bobs!
Is everyone enjoying the beginning of summer? What did you loves do for the solstice?
I went and did the whole "tourist in my own town" thing. It was great. Richard (my boyfriend) and I drove up to Hope, BC and explored Silver Creek and found an incredible waterfall. The beauty that British Columbia holds is so breathtaking.
after we saw this waterfall we decided to go and visit Bridal Falls. Have any of you ever been there? I spent some time as a child exploring the falls but had completely forgotten the magnificence of it all
On the drive home, we got caught in a massive storm going through Chilliwack.
I spent a very sunny day relaxing at the beach
and by the pool
I crafted
and I made local BC grown strawberries into tasty freezer jam
AND my new set Human Nature shot by the incredible Dwan went into Member Review!

It's not doing as well as my other sets, and to be honest...I don't know why. It makes my heart sink because I really truly think that Dwam did an immaculate job making me look like such an earth goddess. I feel that I look really beautiful. I guess you win some and ya' loose some. All that matters is that I feel good about it. Although, I can't help but think that the reason it's not doing so well is because of the shape of my body. And if that is the case, then I'll be quite disappointed. I know that I'm not skinny. I know that I'm curvy, vivacious and squishy. and I also know that I'm beautiful and that I love my body. It just makes me sad to see that others cannot appreciate my body the way they appreciate other bodies. skinny, fat, curvy, or fit. squishy or firm. I know that everyone has a preference and whatever that may be, having that preference doesn't make one body type less attractive than the other. okay. I think I'm done. for now. Sorry.
