i'm getting really sick of people making decisions for me.
i'm in the process of buying my first car. with my own money.
for some reason my mom thinks that she gets to decide what car i buy. she's taken the liberty of asking her boyfriend to be like my own personal shopper. cool. i hate him, he hates me. we don't see eye to eye on ANYTHING. i'm grateful that i have help in finding something that is going to be reliable and easy but when i go on craigslist and find a perfectly good car, it just gets thrown aside.
mom: "it's red. red cars get in the most accidents"
ceres: "okay, it's $3500, i'll paint it. it's only got 86,000kms on it."
mom: "it's red, you're not getting a red car."
UGH. this is just one example of my situation.
today my mom and her boyfriend went to look at a car and test drive it, WITHOUT ME! they said they would come and show me the car if it was nice and whatever. i'm the one buying it. i'm the one that should be test driving it. sorry that you don't like the way it drives. what if i do?! you don't have to drive it. I DO! fuck this. and because they didn't like the way it drives, i missed out on going boating on the Fraser River with my boyfriend's family. BOATING. going boating is my favourite thing, ever. ughhh.
i'm honestly so mad. i've been searching and searching for at least 2 months now. everything i like gets totally shot down. the worst part is - i know that it's only because I CHOSE IT!
i showed my mom a car, she said no. then like 2 days later she showed me the exact same car, the exact same craigslist posting. are you fucking kidding me?
ugh. rant over. sorry guys.
OH one more thing. i cut my hair. or rather just my bangs....they look like shit. wahoo. i'm in such a good mood. fml.
