i start my new job as assistant meat market manager in about a week and a half. next week i'm gonna be put over in the meat dept to shadow the current assistant manager and then the week after that when he transfers to his new manager position i'm gonna slide right into his spot and take the place over! i have a meeting with the store manager this friday morning to discuss cash... hopefully he'll give me a good fuckin' deal, but at this point as long as i make a little bit more an hour and will be getting 40 hours a week i should be all set.
i do have to give my little brother kudos. he played all of his favor cards at his old store to get me the job... so thanks little brother.
still thinking about the girl. had a weird, fucked up dream last night about her. it was good up to a certain point and then it went all wrong and i actually woke up and couldn't get back to sleep for a while. that's fucked up.
if i lived anywhere near her at the moment i would go see her and tell her how i feel, but i can't at the moment cuz she's still in NY and i'm down here in ATL. it's not something you do over the phone ya know? i'm hoping that things will work themselves out like they magically tend to do for me and i will be presented with an opportunity to go up there and see her and everyone else really soon. it'd be nice to hang out with the upstateSGNY crew again.
one of these days soon i'm gonna make up a wishlist so that everyone can buy me birthday presents. not that that will really happen, but a guy can dream can't he?
