so the job interview today went well... only problem is it was referred to as a "preliminary" interview. which apparently will be followed up by at least one more interview before i can get hired. to top it off the manager of the store (who is probably younger than i am) is going on vacation all next week which means he won't be in contact with me until a week from this monday. this does not bode well for your friendly neighborhood cereal killer who will certainly run out of money before he gets a job now. i haven't heard back from any of the other dozens of places i've applied. perhaps it's time to start forcing myself down employers throats. i wouldn't be so upset about this whole thing if it weren't for the fact that i had just started to pull myself back out of debt and out of the realm of bad credit.

in other news i'm not going to let all of this crap keep me from having a good time. when i'm out of money i'm out of money. something will happen to remedy that eventually, but i'm not going to miss out on hanging out with people because i'm worried i won't be able to pay my bills. i'll just keep hitting the job market like a sledgehammer until something hits back.

so does anybody have any suggestions on how i can make a few extra bucks to hold me over for a bit? i'm already doing a few odd jobs here and there. i won't sell crack to school kids though, so that's out... not my style.
