so i'm at my dad's for his 60th birthday... i didn't realize how old he was getting... craziness!
i'm not to fond of the step family down here though... they pretty much act like i'm an intruder the whole time i'm here. not to mention the fact that never in my life have i been in a town that would rather reverse time than move forward into the future. they do everything here to get it back to the way it was... in a way it's quaint, but mostly it just makes this place extremely BORING! there is no night life (everything closes by 8PM for godsake). but i haven't seen my dad in a while and i wanted to be here for the party.
this trip wasn't too bad all in all. got ripped at his bday party... . plus it's only for one day basically which doesn't give me much time to get bored or feel unwelcome.

on a good note: i might be joining the lovely miss jade on her excursion to toronto on tuesday! can you say excited! i mean come on i get to hang with a cutie and spend the day in one of my all time fave places. this makes me very happy
