ok, so the reason for my being bummed... bah!
fergie, my girlfriend, who i love very much finally moved to santa fe, nm. we knew it was going to happen (or at least we were fairly certain). she had made the plans before we met and started dating (it's a long story, so i won't bore you). anyway, she left this past wednesday and should be there by sunday evening. it is not easy to handle right now because i'm used to seeing her every weekend. this will be the first weekend i haven't seen her since just after we started dating and she went to richmond to visit her sister (and that was tough enough). i've already bought a plane ticket to go and see her for the first week of june... so it won't be too long before i see her, but it's still tough.
next comes the part where we have to decide what we are doing. at this point no matter how much i love this cottage and the area i love her more. so if she decides she loves it there i will be moving to see if we can work it out that way. if she doesn't like it or if i get there and we decide we don't want to stay there i will be keeping the cottage and we can come back. it's a lot of maybes, ifs and whatnot, but i think it will all work out. i've been to santa fe before and it's really nice... hot, but nice. i think i could deal with it. plus the idea of living in one of those cool houses they have down there is kinda fun.
