short weekend summary... um, yup... that's about it. see i told you it'd be short.
ok, so honestly i didn't do too much. bought a few things i needed to improve on the cottage. the largest of these being a storm door for the back door. went to put it in... ran into problems. so hopefully i'll get that fixed before the weekend cuz i will be having company and would like for the storm door to be off my front porch... lol.
other than that i've been reading. i picked up anasi boys by neil gaiman and am about 2/3's through it already. i'm always impressed with his writing style and stories. i'm also reading a book on Wicca. i already know some things about it, but i figure since Fergie is Wicca i might want to have a little bit better understanding.
i'm excited cuz friday afternoon Fergie will be getting here. i haven't seen her since last weekend and it's killing me. she was in virginia visiting her sister the last few days. we've been talking on the phone and stuff, but it's not quite the same.
also, for those of you who knew this (and now for those who didn't) i am technically still married. yes, yes a shocker for those of you who didn't know, but not to worry it will be remedied soon. i have a consultation meeting with a lawyer tomorrow morning to file for an uncontested divorce. only trouble... county filing fees are around $375 and the lawyer fees are going to be $1000... who would have known divorce would be so expensive... so, word of wisdom and advice to anyone who thinks they want to get married... think it over a bit more. cuz if something goes wrong and you need a divorce you will probably end up in the poor house just like me. bah!
