so the other day i cleaned out my fireplace... finally. thing was gross... who knows when the last time the previous owners used it, but they obviously didn't bother tio clean it. i still need to get a shop vac so i can vaccuum off the smoke shelf, but once that's done i can have me a fire in my cozy cottage. oh, i also tore out the old fireplace glass door insert thing that was in it and just got a nice simple fireplace screen instead... the insert was old and the doors didn't work too well on it.

so here's a new pic of my fireplace.



then today i spent some of the afternoon fixing the doggy invisible fence that i had tried to install the other day and didn't get set up properly and zapped myself... inside the house! ouch! now it works perfect so i have to start training darby on it soon so that she can get the hang of it for winter time.

other than that i don't have too much planned for the day. going to golden corral for dinner with some friends tonight, but other than that not much at all.
