ok, where to start... i seriously need an update here folks!
ok, first off thanks to all the upstate NY members who made it out to the SGB show at the icon.. it was a fucking great time and i got to meet tons of cool people and see tons of old friends that i haven't seen in a while... special thanks to King_Mob for getting us the kick ass VIP lounge! ok, so who all did i see and meet... crap! um, Monica, frenchface, lagmy, King_Mob, Scott, metta, maligne, redfirefaery... were there more? i was kinda drunk. also, got to meet xiolita, reno, razzi and reagan *cough*namedropper*cough* lol... which was definitely pretty cool.
after the show my friend Mike (who was my guest at VIP) joined the site... so go say hi to him KingMike is his name.
ok, then from there i went to toronto thursday morning and hung out with Deanna... she couldn't come to the SGB show in toronto with me though cuz the damn thing was sold the fuck out! so i went and hooked up with radiofrank, scandaleux, III and zarina for dinner... Z couldn't make the show either... she had some crazy thesis shit to get done for the next morning, but i was glad to see her cuz i haven't hung out with her in ages. when we got into the show we ran into ahriman, lisseth, pigletx69 and some other cool people (damn i'm a terrible person for remembering shit). anyway, then the lovely miss Sphinx showed up and i hung out with her for most of the evening... we got kinda shitty... it was fucking awesome. we had chatted before at other get togethers, but never just hung out and i had a ton of fun. let's see, then after the show i got tackled by Tekky (who i haven't seen in a few months now) and then i also got to meet toby and shayne who are both very cool. after that stayed at scandaleux and III's place.
woke up late the next day to find out my play date with Arden had been canceled cuz she got shitty drunk on her bday and missed the bus to TO... lol. also found out that western NY had gotten 2 feet of snow and been shutdown (that freaked me out a bit). so as much as i didn't want to i knew that as soon as i got the chance i should head home and make sure things were ok. so i went back and hung out with Deanna some more and then when the NYS thruway authority website said the section of thruway i needed was reopened i headed for home. turns out i should have stayed put. the snow storm didn't get near where i live in western NY... it mostly just hit buffalo, but oh well i have work i need to get done on my pace before it gets even colder... so i will use today for that.
i really need to start making my way back up to TO more often though... i really love it up there.
oh, i also scored myself a 12 pack of waterloo dark before i came home and now have my favorite canadian microbrew beer in my fridge for me to enjoy... YES!
shit son, i think that about covers everything... add that in with what i did last weekend and this whole week has been jam packed with drunken good fucking times... oh, how i missed those times!
