ok, so i really think i want to get a small dog... there is one at the shelter for adoption (she's a terrier mix), but i might be too late... she might already be in the process of getting adopted. damn me for being slow!
anyway, today i went and started to clean out my garage... that is going to be a task and a half. i think i'm going to have someone come out and look at it and explain to them that i want to turn it into an art studio and see if they think it's worth fixing up or if i should just tear it down and build a new one. either way lots of work involved.
i rewatched napoleon dynamite tonight while drunk... much, much funnier that way.
i've made a couple more really good art contacts in the area. one is a local artist, but he's had a few shows up in buffalo including at the albright-knox... and he's actually a friend of the family that no one ever bothered to tell me about... um hello people, i do art.. why would you not introduce me to the artist who is a friend of the family? gosh! the other is a lady who moved here from NYC and used to do work for galleries and is now helping to promote some smaller, but very talented local artists... she's a good friend to have i do believe. now to get the studio set up and get some new work done so that i have something to show. i think things may be looking up.
oh, i forgot to mention that khoos brought me poutine sauce when she came to visit... tomorrow... i get cheese curds and make poutine! hell yes!
