i'm officially all moved in!
had a bit of trouble monday when we got here... place wasn't ready to close like they promised. had to wait until thursday morning to get in. not too bad though i suppose... we all had to stay at my dad's which was a bit weird for my mom i'm sure, but hey, what else were we gonna do really? so moved in thursday, went shopping for "necessities"... spent a bit too much money... as always, but oh well. got internet hooked up friday evening. would have been on here sooner, but with the family here i didn't really have time. plus, there's still stuff to do.
so who's coming to visit me and when?!
when i got here i discovered that not only do i have a full bed in my room, but bunkbeds in the guest room and 2 spare mattresses in the loft upstairs... PLUS... the sofa they left for me is actually a la-z-boy full sleeper sofa... so i have enough beds for 8 people to sleep comfortably... 11 or so if we pack people in.
give me a few more weeks and i'll be having that party i promised everyone.
oh, and in case you're wondering why i'm posting at 7 am on a sunday... well, my mom and sister just left 30 minutes ago to head back to georgia... so now i'm up. it's gonna be a bit weird without them all around on a regular basis.
so someone needs to come keep me company and cheer me up.
