well, let's see... what can i update about?

i haven't heard anything about the cottage closing in about a week. i was going to call the lawyer who's handling everything for me today, but then i realized odds are he's not gonna be in the office sense tomorrow is the fourth of july. maybe i'll just call and leave him a message for him to get back to me to give me an update. i know the old saying is "no news is good news", but it drives me crazy not knowing what's going on.

not much longer now though i hope. even if i don't close on the house by july 16th i'll still be coming up to NY. my boss was like "if they postpone your closing are you gonna stay here and work for a few more weeks?" i told him sure i would... what i didn't tell him was that i would lie to his face that the closing had gone through even if it was postponed... lol. if need be i'm pretty sure i can get early access to the place prior to closing. the people who are selling the place seem pretty cool and i'm sure they would understand.

in other news i'm waiting for this to come out in stores...

anyone know the specifics as to when it will be released?

oh, and i'd like to wish all my crazy canadian friends a belated canada day!

and all my friends here an early happy 4th!

i think that's it for now... more on the house once i've talked to the lawyer again.
