so, 2 days ago i actually told my boss i had bought a house and was going to be leaving the store. yeah, yeah i know i had said i was gonna do it sooner, but whatever. then today i actually told the store manager about everything. they bother seemed to take it failry well. i think they realized they weren't going to change my mind. although my immediate boss did offer me a substantial raise to stay... which is why i waited til everything was all set before i told anyone anything (no complications that way). so far the only repurcussions have been bad jokes to the effect of "the bank called the store today... they said everything fell through so you should just stay here and keep working." my boss is not very creative (a bit of a bore actually, but oh well).

so anyway, i found this ticker to keep track of how long until i move back. the scary thing is that this one was the least cute and girly of all the ones available... sad really, but now i can keep track easier on here... lol



oh, anyway, in case you were wondering my last day of work will be july 15th and i will be leaving to move back on july 16th. depending on how i feel the day i leave i may drive straight through or i may stop at a hotel for a night. so i'll either be to my new place late sunday or sometime monday afternoon... fuck yeah!
