so here i sit... i'm really tired of being in the south. i've been tired of being here since i moved here. i've met some cool people, but overall... well, it's just not for me. i need to get out. the thing is that i now have the means to get out... i'm just not sure how to go about getting out or where to go at the moment. the glassblowing studio idea will work, but i'm still waiting to hear from my friend wyatt to see if he's in or out. i think i'm going to stay here for a little while longer (at least until i hear from wyatt). at this point the longer i work the more i can save and even though i don't necessarily need it i feel like i should have it... it's hard to explain. some of you will possibly understand.

in the end i think i'm going to end up back in my hometown... well, if the glassblowing studio thing can be run there... i'm still checking into zoning laws and rough estimates on cost for setting it up there... but if i end up in my hometown i will be less than an hour from buffalo, about 2 hours (or less) from rochester, about 2 hours from toronto and about 3 hours from syracuse... all of which fits my needs pretty well. well, for the most part.

my only worry about going to my hometown is it's tiny and a bit boring, but with a glass studio to build and run it should keep me occupied... plus i can make trips to any of the aforementioned cities to get away... the bonus of running my own shop is if i want to go somewhere for a 3 day weekend... well, i fucking can!
