So I've been here awhile now and never did a blog. Why? Who knows...laziness mostly is my guess 
I got my nose pierced for the first time ever today! My right nostril with an 16g opal-ish ended screw. It is about 2.5 hours old, still a bit tender, but I absolutely love it. It's one of those piercings I have been wanting for a long time but never did. Then after work today I thought "ya know, I am just going to do it!"
I need to get some pics of it, but taking pics of your own nose is a little tricky. When the hubby gets up I'll have him do the honors.
I will say that while the initial piercing wasn't too painful, the piercer trying to get the screw in hurt like hell! She had to keep straightening the screw out a bit more and more until she said any more and it would be straight! something about my membrane also not wanting to play nice, I don't know. It didn't bleed as much as I thought it would, and my only current concern is the length of the screw. I worry it is a little long, as the end occasionally sticks out of my nose...but I am not going to mess with it for awhile to make sure it has a chance to heal.
Either way, I am super pleased!
