I hadn't talked to a friend of mine in a while, actually, it was so long that she was afraid to call me because she thought I'd yell at her for not calling for so long. I bit the bullet yesterday and called her. She came by my house and we ended up going to this cute little martini bar and sang karaoke all night. We were the youngest people in the place but it was so much fun. I haven't done anything like that in months, it felt so good to get out and away from everything and just sing. I tried out a couple new songs, I'm the Only One, which I must say I rocked out, We Didn't Start the Fire which I needed a bucket of water to hydrate for, was okay but the words on the screen were wrong and they screwed me up a little. The Prayer, it was weird to sing it in English and as a solo, but I bet I could get better at it, I dunno if I'll ever do that one again though. I did my old faithful of course, Just Like Jesse James. I just want to get out more. It was a lot of fun.
I have a crit in photography tomorrow and I'm not at all excited about it. The last two rolls I developed didn't thrill me much and I'm worried that my prints are going to come out pinkish because I'm impatient and I might've taken them out of the fixer too soon. Oh well, we'll see how it goes.
