The joys of parenthood - a weekend spent with a child with a viral infection, 4 hours in the hospital to be told there is nothing to do except wait for the virus to pass, constantly monitoring temperatures including hourly during the early morning, cleaning up vomit in hair/pjamas/sheets at 3am, trying to coax said child to swallow liquid panadol to keep the temp down. More than worth it.
