Just going straight to the point. Cheryl went for a scan on Tuesday and they have found a secondary cancer on her hip bone. It is not operable but if Cheryl responds to another round of radiation and long term chemical treatment, the growth will be contained and not spread to more vital organs.
Needless to say, things are not looking good for our hero & heroine.
It feels worse than last year - I think this is because we were so hopeful that it was all over and because I now know how gruelling the therapy will be.
I know most of you aren't fairly religious but please pray for Cheryl when you can.
I won't be around much for the next few weeks. But I won't cancel my subscription just yet. Hope life is better for you and take care. Catch you when I can.
