I love having a baby but just shoot me now to put me out of my misery. She woke up every 2 hours last night. She stayed awake for 30 minutes and then slept for 90 minutes before rinse and repeat. And this was after non stop attention all Sunday.
I was more tired on Monday morning than I was on Friday afternoon. Although I was very up on Friday at 5pm. Although I was away for the better part of a week during the month, my team blitzed it on production and we are back on track for my annual target. And Cheryl finished her radiation therapy - now she rests for a month before a final check by the doctos and she starts on the hormone tablets for the next 2-5 years. It means our daughter will be an only child but so was Cheryl so it can't all be bad.
I had difficulty deciding on a theme for Quote of the Week for November. I was thinking Livy or Monty Python which just goes to show what a non sequitur mind I have. In the end, I have decided to go with Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy Volume I The Inferno because I always loved reading it around exam time at Uni and in penance because I forgot to go to Mass today for All Saints Day.
