This week is just fucking bizarre.
I got judgment in my trial today and we won 100%. Claim dismissed against my client. The judge was even going to give us costs but we had to point out he can't do that under the particular legislation. God (& Cheryl) fought with us today.
And then the people on the other side in my next trial rang out of the blue asking to settle because they were worried they might lose too.
Suddenly, the client, who was ripping me apart last week, thinks I'm the bee's knees.
This kind of shit turns a person bipolar.
I had an all body skin check for skin cancers yesterday. I didn't realise all body meant all of the body. I thought it meant just the bits exposed to the sun but apparently its all skin. I probably wouldn't have minded if the female dermatologist had done the exam but I drew the short straw so to speak. Anyway, everything is good. I had a small mole on my back lopped off as a precaution but no real problems.
I'm off to Noosa with Emily this weekend. Its been 7 months since we checked out the unit. Emily said she wanted to go for 4 nights but I can't take the time off before end of financial year. It will still be good to have a break up there.
And I am really toey at the moment after recovering from my stomach virus. It is another 3 weeks before my friend with benefits returns from her holiday overseas. Any volunteers?
