Telstra took the ADSL code off my phone line last Wednesday when I finally cancelled Cheryl's mobile and transferred to account to my name. One week later....
I switched my sim card from my phone which was rather worn from wear to Cheryl's mobile. I experienced a wonderful surprise in the process - I found 4 recordings on the phone which Cheryl made with Emily only 2 weeks before Cheryl died. Apart from having another record of her mother's voice for Emily to listen to when she grows up, I could pretend that Cheryl was still here, speaking fresh words to me. This was literally an answer to a prayer I had 12 months ago so I am very excited.
I bought Magic Dirt's Beast which I love.
I saw Hunting & Gathering which made me nostalgic for Ile de France.
And there is a new Flux set. Hopefully not the last but who knows with this place these days.
