I had a bizarre conversation about music with the 2 soccer mums working with me. It is very hard to describe indie music with people who think Michael Buble is the cutting edge of modern music. One of the Mouse's teacher's has a great chest piece work in progress and I made some remarks about her selection of music played over the PA system during the morning set up. Things sort of degenerated from there when the other 2 joined in. After eventually establishing that people actually willingly get their chests tattoed, that indie rock does not equal Goth and Goth does not equal Emo and that yes, the 2 girls who committed suicide in Victoria did have a link to Suicide Girls, but Suicide Girls was not a site teeaching girls how to kill themselves, I called it quits.

I was in panic on Sunday because I thought I lost my ticket for Tori Amos (ie I was convinced the Mouse had cut it up for 1 of her artistic creations) but all is well - there in the back of the envelope behind the Thomas the Tank engine tickets.
