Life is quiet at the moment. Too quiet.
Visited Cheryl's grave on Sunday. The headstone is up, which looks very nice. Spent about half an hour talking and wiping mucus from my nose because I forgot to bring tissues.
I have been thinking about Cheryl a lot over the past week which is a by product of the quietude. I went to sort out her clothes and had to stop because I could see her in every outfit. I started crying which triggered a coughing fit. Emily told me to stop which I duly did. I think Emily is missing Cheryl too - she is asking me again why Mummy went away and why she can't come back. Emily is still great at school but she is very reserved when I take her to the birthday parties or on playdates.
And she has a cold again for the 3rd time in 8 weeks.
We are off to Noosa this weekend so hopefully she will improve with the sea air.

thankyou so much for the comment, i didnt know nic that well but had worked with her hubby, i guess 33 is way to young, sorry to hear about your wife but as you said it never reallly helps when people offer the extras even when attempting to be nice, thanks buddy
