Work is still flat out but all of the prep over the last 2 months is paying off.
I was actually bordering on depression on the 29/30 July weekend because I thought I had completely fucked up a trial but then on Monday the other side admitted the evidence wasn't genuine and it was game on again.
And in another trial, the other side didn't even know it was on until I rang them 1 week out to see who their counsel was. I couldn't believe it when they immediately asked to settle. It is hard to explain the joy - it's a litigation thing.
And yay me for tomorrow, although I won't get any time to celebrate this year.
