Busy times ahead.

The Mouse's school fete on Saturday. For anyone going to Never's show at the Milton Bowl, come at a bit early as the fete is just on the other side of Gregory Park at Nash St. It finishes at 2pm which meshes nicely for when Never go on.

Sunday will be firstly going to visit Cheryl for our wedding anniversary in the...

I don't know why but I have an almost overwhelming urge to have sex tonight. Not glove of love relief sex but the whole writhing, messy, touching all over, switching positions constantly type of sex.

I think I am over my chest infection.

Oh snap, I am recovering from a nasty bout of bronchitis. I hear you on the writhing and stuff, some honeymoon I've had! surreal

I love your posts!!!!!

So I am off to Melbourne on Thursday for a friend's birthday party on Friday.

Anyway, my friend works at a bank and his wife is a school teacher. They are both turning 40. I was initially going to get them a feeldoe and jerseys in their favourite club colours (St Kilda & Adelaide) but that is just too fucking expensive for a present that...

There will be plenty of opportunities in the future. smile

It took me ages to figure out what a feeldoe was and i was about to ask, but I think I suddenly have an idea of it. Have a great time at the party. Don't spread your flu to the airplane passengers! (or, y'know, do if that's your form of subversion... wink )

Happy birthday, Marion.

Your last comment to me made me smile so much!!

What's happening??

I had no idea the gig was going to be such a social event and I'm sorry I missed seeing you, it would have been good to catch up whatever frown

Will you be attending the Ball?? (I've probably asked you this already, sorry!). I know it's months away but that is the next BIG social event and why I bring it up ooo aaa

I pestered Phil for details about you and other people and what they'd been up to so I have a brief update but it's not the same hey??

Hope things are well in your life right now xxxxL
aaronsrod:
thanks mate, I am off to the Caravan & Camping Expo at the RNA with the olds, my company also has the security contract for this event.

I went to Cleverthings album launch last night. I went in my work clothes, being a suit and tie. People at Club Phoenix came up to ask who I was because I wasn't dressed like the rest. 1 guy even thought I was a record rep. I am such a non-conformist.

I am slowly getting things organised, too slowly maybe! I will need to get a hurry on soon, haven't even made the invites yet. ARGH! surreal

So about Cairns.

Firstly 40th birthday parties are considerably different from 30th's. Less sex & alcohol, more people rushing home early to let the babysitter go home.

The party was great. Not as many of the old gang from Brisbane, more locals which I suppose is to be expected as the birthday girl has been living up there for 15 years now. Still good to...

I was going to do an up post about the weekend - I had a great time in Cairns. Maybe tomorrow night I will write it.

I even had lunch with Aaronsrod today, so I should be feeling good.

Instead I feel so shit. I don't know what it is. I was downloading pics of Maxi today - lots of them. Then I stopped and...

frown That's just awful. I can't imagine what it's like to lose someone I loved. I have nightmares about it and tell my boyfriend most days that he's never allowed to die. I couldn't imagine going on. But, it's happened and hopefully thinking about the good times will get less difficult as time goes by. What else can you do? You have Emily needing you and loving you!!

As for Friday, we're on at 10:30pm and it's perfectly understandable that you might not get to see the earlier bands!! As long as there's some people there at the start to see Nucleus, I'll be happy. biggrin

See you then! Oh, and I ran into Aaden yesterday - he said he's really enjoying working there, so that's good to hear! smile

come to lunch, we'll cheer you up.

I'm heading up to Cairns for a friend's 40th birthday party (yes, I have friends who are that old). Cheryl and I went up for the corresponding 30th and had one of the best weekends ever. The theme was childrens games - I went in scrubs and Cheryl borrowed a friends nurse's uniform. She looked so hot when she got dressed that we were late...

As too your message I will bring all the doc that you require to lunch with me next week, we may just be able to cove the costs of insurance if we sell another 40 tickets which we plan to do in two releases in June and again in August. As it is may company that is supplying the security I can give you a copy of our P/L and we can do up an contract that you think may be prudent. I will also send you a copy of the current SGAU Ball account if you send me your email to phil@pacgroup.com.au as it is in excel I can't send it via SG.

cheers and I wish I was going to Cairns with you, i used to work at the markets in Kuranda in fact the first time I went on a train was when I was 5 and it was up to Karanda via the Baron Gorge I loved the tunnels, I am sure Emily will remember this train trip for the rest of her life it had a huge impact on me as a kid, although I was a little older.

Life is quiet at the moment. Too quiet.

Visited Cheryl's grave on Sunday. The headstone is up, which looks very nice. Spent about half an hour talking and wiping mucus from my nose because I forgot to bring tissues.

I have been thinking about Cheryl a lot over the past week which is a by product of the quietude. I went to sort out her...

My third aniversary on the site today. Which is like 21 human years.

Time is so relative. So much has happened in 3 years that it feels like a decade. I remembered yesterday was 2 months since Cheryl went. It feels like forever since I touched her.

I have noticed that there are those events in life where history seems to be neatly divided and...

Great to see you 'round these parts again Mr CC...and love the George shot...have to admit I did a double take when I first saw it smile . My mum founded the Brisvegas Montessori school in the '70s...there's a nice connection...

George is soooo Emo.
Nice Freudian slip on the "statinary supplier" - I get my Lipitor from a pharmacist. ha ha
Interesting comment on Phantasy's blog .... not sure if that is totally PC.

Montessori - is that the one where if you are bad, they dump a severed horses head onto your desk?

Thought I better use the work computer to do an update because apparently it will take another 2 weeks to put the new tower together.

I am going well at the moment. I am so busy with work that I don't get time to wallow. I find that when I am in the usual routine, it doesn't hit me until the time of the day...

I can't imagine how I would feel if I lost my man, or my parents, or little sister. Those people are just meant to be there forever. I've lost a lot of friends over the years, all suddenly and unexpectedly, and it's crazy to see that things go on. But there's a level of acceptance that's easier to get to when it's not in that close circle of people you believe will always be there. I hope that it keeps getting better for you. And I'm glad Emily's doing well.

Thanks so much for getting out and seeing my band's gig! I really appreciate it. Glad you liked it and thanks for the compliments! biggrin
