I was watching City of God with some people down the hall from me; this one girl seemed to be able to find humor in mostly everything that happened throughout the entire movie...until the very end, when the credits said, "based on a true story"...then she got all upset; me, I'm a film student...I watch many movies on a regular basis, "desensetized" doesn't even begin to cover it...
