Have you ever sat in a room as it's getting dark and noticed how the shadows stretch and skew, how different the room looks, like it's undergoing a metamorphosis, a metamorphosis that happens everyday but for the mostpart goes unnoticed. You could apply the same principle to many a thing, how time changes your perception of a certain thing or place. But this might happen over a period of years, whereas the shadows change over the space of maybe an hour or so. There truly is beauty in nature.
