People actually responded to my last entry..twas unexpected to say the least. Another review then...

'The Straight Story' is a David Lynch film. Now i'm guessing 50% of you are thinking uh-oh, total headfuck time and the other 50% are thinking Cool! total headfuck time! but there is no fucking of heads with this film. Based on a true story, it's about a stubborn old man who suddenly recieves word his brother has had a stroke, the brother he hasn't spoken to in years due to some petty argument. So in one of those life-changing moments, he swallows his pride and sets out on a six-week journey across america to go see him, meeting people from various walks of life along the way. What's so special about this i hear you ask? Well he's doing it on a lawnmower for starters...

This is one of those touching movies that makes you feel all warm inside, the sentiment is there for all to see but it's not overplayed. The characters are involving and you find yourself easily sucked in. If you don't feel all gooey inside by the end of this movie you are a heartless wench. Seek it!

And then of course David Lynch did Mulholland Drive :p
