I've been mad busy with my theatre gigs. I just wish they paid better. This past weekend was insane! Friday, I spent 13.5 hours in the scene shop. Saturday, while on a lighting hang, I got a call telling me that someone had cut our sound cables at the amphitheatre, so I had to re-run 3 200 ft runs of cable and bury it! Sunday, more lighting and another double show day followed by a complete sound strike and 9 hours of guard duty at the amphitheatre. I finally got home at 5:30am Monday morning.
This weekend is not as jamb-packed but will still be busy and long.
I had 6 weeks of nothing and then all kinds of crazy happenings! It's a good thing I love theatre, otherwise I'd be in a corner curled up in the fetal position rocking back and forth drooling on myself by now! I'm saving that for next week!
