TRUE IN A WAY
I was visited by the ghosts of the past, the present, and the future in that exact order. I am going to dance down and flip silver dollars everyone I see. It is raining and so beautiful outside right now.
BEFORE
We gave my grandmother a book with written memories about her husband, my grandfather, Kermit. Grandma read the story I wrote about him and I taking a boat ride in Alaska when I was 10. Grandma wept and said, I only wish he knew you thought that way about him. Our effort to bring back wonderful memories resulted in her being sensitive to the feelings of her love because he was not there to enjoy the memory himself.
SO
I had better make sure that what I write is intended to be read by those that need to read it; say to those who need to hear. I guess I use writing as a way of expressing the things I cannot get across in other ways. My grandpa didn't know the things I didn't tell him.

That could be true actually, the sugar thing. I think for me it's more of a guilt thing, though. Like what did I ever do to deserve people who care about me that much? You know?
