Hello my world!
Im getting ready to travel to Virginia Friday. I am looking forward to a little vacation. It is much needed. I have a girlfriend taking care of my pooches and I am up up and away.Two months ago I had a house flood. Which resulted in a total remodel. Both in the guest and the master bath. So I said why not remodel the whole master bedroom as well. W_E_L_L!!!! that was crazy!!! But it is done and BEAUTIFUL!! I put down slate on the bedroom and in the bathroom including the shower walls. Very dark and sexy. I painted dark taupe-charcoal walls. and Black accents in bathroom. Like my glass block bathtub area.Its nice to take a bath in. I have a black marble bathtub and the dark slate makes it crazy sexy.I like it dark.
The guest bed and bathroom makes me feel like the munsters. They had their niece the "normal" blonde living with them, Marilyn. Well, my guest BR would be hers. The rest of my house is sort of goth-ish. Wrought iron candle holders and accents. Graveyard pics. (I have a graveyard photographer) The guest is pink and white shabby chic. Girly to the extreme. But with cute sexy pin-up and playboy books on the table. For grown up girls only!! You got it...no children at my house.
So Its really nice to come home to my new home now. All new and clean. It was worth the work.
Now I need visitors.
I can now just enjoy.
