Hello all!
Wow, I didnt remember moving my salon two years ago being this much work. Its going to be beautiful though. Its not easy expanding. So much to do. Right now its paintpaintpaintpaintpaintpaintpaint.
Today Im going back for more!! Two out of three rooms will be complete after today. The ceilings are really high so its slow moving. The results are a Beautiful shade of Aqua heaven.
The front room is going to be an old fashioned Barber shop. Equipped with mens straight razor face shaving. He puts Tea Tree oil on your face, steams you for 10 min with hot towels and a steamer, then conditions and shaves. LOVELY!!
The middle room is my hair area. I have a girlfriend that I am training to work with me also. She is cute cute cute!!! Hair like Goldilocks!! I am putting in antique chandeliers and pendulum lights. The decor is old Hollywood. My stations are antique Hutches. Its pretty, modern and retro at the same time.I cant wait to post photos!!
The back room is for my nails. Its bright turquoise . It is my mermaid room. Sparkly beads hanging in the huge window. Its what little girls dreams are made of!! Mermaids and tattoos and sparkly things oh my!!
So off to work I go. Im going on Craigs list I need one more antique piece to be complete.
I wish you were in town to get a beautiful shave...its going to be nice.
