On match.com there is a statement when I first read it I misinterpreted its meaning but it says 'I am not bitter because I am single, quite the opposite' well the Gary Larson in me made a joke out of that saying I am single because I am bitter. Well my joke is true; no one likes a bitter person. I never saw the true meaning that a person can be glad to be single, just like I never saw growing up that what set me apart from everyone and made me get noticed could be used in my favor, instead I always actually hated being seen as different and even went so far as to believe I was superior. Rather then embracing my unique talents I always wanted to be seen as the same and when I wasn't I resented everyone who simply were acting as one would naturally act. Truth is I wasn't like most people and I hated that, and I hated myself for not being like everyone else and then I snapped and felt like if I am seen as different I will be different. And whenever someone else was being different I felt threatened.
