It has been awhile. I should be working, but fuck it a blog is long overdue. This past week was so busy it is audit time at the lab, a time when all the national accreditation groups come and inspect us. Of course in preparation for we have our own in house surprise drills, think pop quiz only in addition to failing I would also lose my qualification. So for last week had five drills and past them all
. Also met with one of the auditors a prof. from Stanford I believe who wanted to see me in particular in the lab as I am the newest member of the dosimetry group. It went well he had a background in physics as well and he seem impressed with my background and said 'Wow he is highly qualified, he will be running this place in a few years when people start retiring' 
. In truth I am thinking more of trying to transfer to nuclear engineer (Mo' Money) and I still eventually want to go back to the DC area.
I had the day off today and went to two doctor appointments. More on that later
