last week i noticed a humming bird outside my window. she seemed to be frequently hovering back and fourth between several different areas of the back yard, and one certain branch on a tree.
there's this little delicate nest, precariously balanced on floppy branch that catches a lot of wind durring the day.
i haven't seen her in a few days though, and the nest looks fairly empty.
i'm tempted to haul a giant ladder out there, and climb up to the branch. just to see if i'd find little broken egg shell bits....

edit: i just completely ate shit on my own staircase.
if there was a 'spaz of the year' award, i'd SO be in the running.
