I returned from Chicago yesterday. We had stayed out all night Saturday night in Chicago (bars are open past two there!!!!) and then we went back to my friends apartment, where I crashed for an hour and then woke up and left for the three hour drive to my parents' house to pick up my toddler. Their house is on the way through to Minneapolis. The drive sucked - I was exhausted, had a bitch of a headache and felt gross. But being at my parents for a while was nice - I hadn't been there since Christmas. That's too long, I missed the cows and the house and the general environment. I wallked in the door and my mom exclaims "Wow, you look like crap!" I just laughed. (I had felt better by then, so it was way more funny than insulting! ) Got to hang out with LyloniJade and her cutie pie neice. She and my son had a blast. Well.....my son seems to think everything is "MINE!", so I'm sure he had fun even though he was being a brat. But it was a fun time for all - I got to see my brother, whom I don't see often. In the past few months he's put a few piercings in his head and gotten himself a sweet tattoo, so I'm a proud sister. And it was nice to just sit down with the family (and my bro's roommate) and have dinner. Long overdue.

In other news, LyloniJade chopped off me hair! Arrrr!
It's way short, but cute. I like it. Good thing I trusted her when I said "Just chop it off and do whatever." I'm happy with the result! Gracias, LJ, muy guapo!

I left Wisconsin around 4ish, and I got back to the cities last night around 9:15, crashed on the couch. Went to bed around 11 (yah, I'm a wuss, but a hungover one!) and woke up just a half hour ago to go to work. Which I am doing now. Yes, now.
