I have returned to the great north, and to lots more snow than they have over in our eastern neighboring state! Cripes! It's still snowing here in Minneapolis, and kind of a bitch to drive in.
I'm tired, so here's the long of the short of it:
Thanksgiving was good. Drank much wine.
Grandpa's wedding went well, and the wedding singer (moi) did good except for the emotional choke up. We'll pretend that didn't happen. And LyloniJade did a kick butt job as the wedding photographer.
I just got back to the cities today and HAD to see Rent. So we did. And it was AWESOME. I encourage you all to go see it. I cried like a damn baby through much of it. SO good. Lots of stuff different than from the on stage version, but the movie was done very well. And I had been quite a skeptic about it.
I have a WICKED, gross, nasty cold or something. I have a runny yet stuffy nose (and a chapped nose and lips from all the tissues I've been using!), a fever, headache, and my throat is just starting to feel yucky now. I hate being sick. I need someone to make me feel all better.
Will someone please come make me some chicken soup????

That was the first "blizzard" of the winter I guess. It started when I left Minnesota and just got worse.
Traffic was horrible, it added on another 3 hours to my trip.
As for basketball, 3-1. We just lost a close game to Duke last night.
I guess we are supposed to get some of that great weather
Guess I hear your Gophers are going to be in a bowl this year. Hope all the Big 10 teams that made it to a bowl game will win. Looks like the Buckeyes are more than likely playing Notre Dame in a BCS bowl this year. Hate the "Fighting Irish" but they now have a great coach damn-it!
