Ah, what a day... i actually got some work done for a change. I went to my first upper-level meeting since the promotion. Yay! It's just like the old meetings except they talk about shit I have no interest in and nothing to do with. I'm sure one of these days I'll figure it all out. It was a good day all-in-all. I made it home without a headache. My new whiskey glasses are great! You know a woman loves you when she will complain because you drink too much and then buy you a whiskey set for christmas!

Sadie is the happiest dog on the planet. Our downstairs neighbor (and one of Sadie's many adoring fans) gave her a leftover Ham bone. It's a super-special treat when you live with a bunch of vegetarians. The smell and the sound of teeth grinding on bones is kind of nasty, but it's worth it to see the look of shear delight on her face.

And to top it off, AJGirl is making dinner. I love that girl!
