in sad news my aunt P died and her funeral was over the weekend. even sadder for uncle E is that she died on his birthday thus forever spoiling that occasion for him. the funeral was this sunday in the Dowtown Baptist church os Sacramento. it was pretty sad affair, but it was nice seeing the rest of the aunts, uncles, and cousins. drove my cousin W back and discussed what's wrong with our sex, or of course lack there of, lives. it seems we've both fallen into the same old trap with the exes. she went further and proclaimed it impossible for men and woman to be friends without at least one of them wanting more from the relationship. this strikes me as wrong, but still it has given me doubts. if anyone were to sound off on this subject i would be interested in their opinion.
in other news another of my exes recently invited me to a show she's playing at some place called the sublounge in SF. not sure what to think of that. this girl got rid of me so it's probably harmless and i would like to go, but i'm a bit gunshy about exes right about now.

Sorry to hear about your Aunt & Uncle. That's never an easy thing to deal with.
As far as just letting my life waste away while I work, I won't settle for that kind of life!! I've been doing that for the past few years. It's given me a steady basis to let me pursue other interests outside of work though. Kind of a catch-22. Sure, it pays my bills & even gives me enough $ to take fun classes in art & dancing. But it's not how I want to spend my time!

As for 'friends' of opposite sexes...In My Opinion, your cousin is correct. In my experience, I have always either liked my op.sex friend or they liked me. (even if it was only a tiny bit.) EVEN if they were gay. Life is funny.
