SOBER SISTER

after getting out of control drunk the last few weeks I have made a choice. I'm gonna sober up for a while. I'm hitting some meetings to connect with some people who know what its like to struggle and have to clean up for life. My friends arnt helping me at all. in fact they took me out last nyt in the hopes of getting me drunk and were all shocked when I lasted till 2am sober as can be, not one drink, when I finally said fuck it I'm leaving you wasted assholes. I saw them act like fools and I'd had enuff. I cant believe thats how I LOOK when I''m drunk. Ive had enuff. I have 4 days clean and I'm happy. Alchohol is a depresssant and Im already on meds to stop me from being anxious so its counter acting those. Its time I grow up. My therapist says Im not an alcoholic. yet. but that taking some time to clean up is never a bad thing. and if i can go thirty days I'll b much mor able to control myself and much happier. So thats what im gonna do, even if it results in new friends.
