The unicorn said, "That is true. You are a man, and men can do nothing that makes any difference." But her voice was strangely slow and burdened. She asked, "Which will you choose?"

The magician laughed for a third time. "Oh, it will be the kind magic, undoubtedly, because you would like it more. I do not think that I will ever see you again,...

Tonight, I took six of my best friends (Nolan_Void among them) out to dinner. It was really good food, and we had a really good time. I took pictures. Then we came back and sat around for a while before deciding to watch Mystery Men, which I recalled hating when it came out--but I was like, 13 or something, and didn't really get the...

It's 4am. I'm tired. I should be sleeping. But I can't just yet. I've felt the first stirrings of an old passion long dormant, of sunlight long obstructed by windows shut and barred. I want to open them--to let some of the light in, to breathe fresh air and remember. But I have to do it slowly, so I won't be blinded.

A friend of...

THAT. That is a RANT.
I'm thinking your keyboard took quite the beating as you were pounding it out.

Oh, and you're absolutely right about about keeping a moment. It's actually what I tired to tell her when she was lamenting her ex. I told her that the time she had with him was true and sincere and that it was hers. Nobody else gets that. And who he is now is not who he was then, and nobody is going to get that either. They're moments in time and they belong to her.

So yeah, you and me, we subscribe to the same newsletter on that shit.

Can I just tell you guys:

So my friend and I are out lying in the sun today, enjoying the day and having a lovely time, when we hear this rustling in the leaves overhead. I look up just in time to see this squirrel PLUMMET from the branches. I'm not even making this up. Squirrels actually FALL. And this one fell like, twenty feet!...

They're making commemorative nickels now?

Who made this decision, and where the fuck was I?
t3chmonkey:
Oh, yeah, we voted on that when you went to the bathroom and stopped at the vending machine and wavered on wether or not get anything. We didn't think it was a big deal if you missed it.

Why? Are you mad? You wanna bring it up at the next Treasurers for Art in Currency Meeting? It's a little late to reverse it now, but you do still want to do the Jimmy Carter Pennies, right?

I'd really like to do some more SG fanart, but so far I haven't really found any sets that have the kind of motion I'm looking for. If any of yous guys can think of a girl, a set, or a shot that you think would be worth drawing--or that you'd like to see drawn--point it out to me. I'm dyin', here.
t3chmonkey:
Hey... niccce. One more outstanding skill and you're a bonafide renaissance girl.

I have a few fan art pics too.

How about Apnea? She's a classic.

If I believed in God, I would thank him/her/it for SuicideBoys. I might even sacrifice a few goats.

If I could have a job where I just took dozens of pictures of naked men? I just... I don't think my fragile human form could handle it. My organs might actually implode. Hell-- if I were to take life drawing again and we actually had a...

For now, this is all she wrote. There's probably more; I don't know what yet. Don't expect any follow-ups in the immediate future, but thoughts, comments, suggestions, etc. are, as ever, more than welcome.

Glee!

She woke leisurely, foggily. Dawn was slow in coming; it broke against her windows in non-shades of graying pink and orange, thick with cold. The world had been deep...

The fiction was very well articulated. I love the wordsmithing. Also, the story followed a tried and true method with the twist at the end. The twist itself was expected, but the nature of it was not, so good job there. Leading to that kind of breaking point seems to keep a reader hooked in with interest. I know it did for me.

Holy god. I just thought of a story. Now. Right now, just this second. Out of nothing.

I'm writing it. I will post it later.

So exciting!

Have uploaded several new photos. Most of these are harmless. One is not. Find it and win a cookie!

Just kidding.

Like I'd give you a cookie if I had one.

And, Nolan-- the name of the story that we were insanely trying to remember? The Ray Bradbury one about the Venusian girl? All Summer in a Day. I found an online version...
