Yeah, it is, thank god.
manchester_black:
Yeah, February is definitely a month that I would abduct in one of those creepy looking vans with the windows blacked out, pummel with phone books and sacks of objects of various hardnesses and then toss it from a moving vehicle into a ditch, leaving it to die all alone and bound with electrical tape.

The photography group assignment of the month is "Freedom."

THIS, I can do.

*paces*

Camera-twitchy.

Something must be done.

Also: I am delinquent. Not just as pertains to life, which I incontrovertibly--as the kids would say--lose at. <sentencefragment> But also SG. </sentencefragment>

See, I went through this period a month or so ago where I was posting in groups and threads like whoa. And then? I stopped. Ceased and desisted. No one knows why. Somewhere in the world,...

And now, your brain-buster for the day.

This is a conversation Re: my posting an excerpt from the Ursula K. Le Guin story "Schrdinger's Cat" elseblog. The interlocutors consist of myself and mumeimagpie and occurred in said blog. I just couldn't let it go unshared.

MMMP: This is the most entertaining post *ever*.

I am so entertained.
Me: You suck, Megan.
MMMP: Actually, being that...

That is awesome.

I am not the most educated person, so i learned about the Schrodinger's cat theory through the comic Leviathan. Have you ever read that? Brilliance.

Feeling a bit queasy. Have barely eaten today for, alas, I had not the time. The day began with rain, so I woke up late-- didn't go to my costuming practicum because I didn't want to haul all my shit through the rain. Pre-class shower took up time I would have used to eat. Then I had work in the Writing Center, and because a...

...actually, I would like to share with you what it says on the side of this here bottle:

"Try this: put a banana, a handful of strawberries,...

My Spring Break is from March 5-13. Ordinarily, I would have unquestionably already allotted this as a time where I would drive home and be with my family-- however, this time my sister will be in France, and my brother's break doesn't start until March 18th. So, while I love my folks and would be perfectly fine spending nine days with them, I've been thinking--...

It's easier than you'd think. You just have to be calm....basically...DONT PANIC.

Many years ago, I took my first independant road trip.....over a thousand miles in a rusted out shitbox Ford Taurus to see my favorite band live, for my first time, to celebrate the release of a new album....destroyed the car on the way back, but by Bob-I did it. And without sleep-5 day trip, there and back.
mortuusnox:
don't do it alone. its too dangerous, unless you have a really dependable car and good insurance. i feel you with that apathy thing. (heh heh, clever pun no?) go find what you're looking for.

Was in Charleston, SC the past few days for the Southeastern Writing Centers Association conference. It was pretty fun; the other student tutor and I spent more time wandering around beautiful downtown Charleston and oggling at all the goodies for the uber-rich kids who live there than going to panels (this wasn't delinquent on our part; our director only wanted us to go to a...

Understand something about me:

I NEED words.

I need them. I need words like leaves need light for sugar. They are all that is constant and loyal in my life. I don't recall learning them-- they have always been. They keep me awake at night: scrolling words, pulsing words, throbbing, aching, seething words on my tongue and in my ears... I can't hold them all,...

Dear diary,

Today I went to the playground.

I went with Sarah and Nolan and Denise. We had a good time. We played on the merry-go-round and the swings. Also, we played on the jungle gym, though we thought it wasn't as fun 'cause there weren't real monkey bars. Sarah liked the slide a lot. Denise did, too. Nolan was mostly quiet but Nolan's usually...
