And now, your brain-buster for the day.

This is a conversation Re: my posting an excerpt from the Ursula K. Le Guin story "Schrdinger's Cat" elseblog. The interlocutors consist of myself and mumeimagpie and occurred in said blog. I just couldn't let it go unshared.

MMMP: This is the most entertaining post *ever*.

I am so entertained.
Me: You suck, Megan.
MMMP: Actually, being that I am across the wide, wide wasteland of the internet and you cannot see me, nor verify in any way that I suck, and being that the chances of me sucking are perfectly equal to the chances of me not sucking, I do not either suck or not suck - and I must both suck and not suck, simultaneously, forever, until a point as when you can verify that one or the other is factual.

::whirligigs and falls over::
Me: So, because you're across the wide, wide wasteland of the Internet, and I can't see whether you are or are not sucking--which means, of course, you are doing both and neither--I also cannot verify if you even exist at all. If your actions are based soley on whether I can or cannot see you (and you apparently assert that they are), then so, too, must your existence be--unless, of course, I CAN assert that you exist simply by interpreting text that also may or may not exist, which means I can also assert with confidence that you suck. You think, therefore you are; you are, therefore, you suck.

Or are not. In which case, I'm not either, and we're all one happy nihilistic family that does not exist. And does. Together. At the same time.

Ride those superpositioned waves, baby! Whooo!

That is awesome.

I am not the most educated person, so i learned about the Schrodinger's cat theory through the comic Leviathan. Have you ever read that? Brilliance.
