also had i deployed earlier this month, i might have seen some possible contact this week. and it would be getting a little busier over in afghanistan in the weeks to come. i am missing out on my job. damn...
so...might not go home for christmas. i would be okay with it if i was deployed. but i am not. my bosses just dropped the ball, and forgot to make sure someone is here to take over armorer duties. so i get stuck in louisiana for christmas. fucking a right doggie! needless to say...i am a bit upset. 
found out i am going to be in school for early january. before allisia gets back. stupid army schools.

so i am not deploying now. no one is properly trained in the troop to take over my job. so that means kevin stays here. and doesn't get to go do his job in the mountains of a foreign country. mind you this means i will get to see allisia at some point next year, we have been training and training for 2 years to go do our jobs, and here i am, not going to so my job. yay me.
